Former United States of America First Lady, Michelle Obama has obtained a Ph.D in law, thus becoming the most educated first lady in the world.
The former first lady hits the limelight after her husband, Barack Obama became the President of the United States of America.
Mithell is a 1985 cum laude graduate of Princeton University
She later proceeded to Harvard Law School in 1988 where she earned a Juris Doctor degree. A Juris Doctor degree is a graduate-entry professional degree in law.
Between 2009- 2017, Michell was on national assignment which may have prevented her from pursuing a higher education.
The first African-American First Lady of the United States was awarded an honorary doctorate degree before delivering a keynote
address at Jackson State University’s 139th Spring Commencement ceremony in April
2016.
Meanwhile, Netflix has announced that it is debuting a new documentary, “Becoming”, based on former First Lady Michelle Obama‘s life post-White House and stories from her book of the same title. In Becoming, Michelle explains, “Here I am, in this new place, with a lot I want to say.”
According to Netflix, “the film offers a rare and up-close look at her life, taking viewers behind the scenes as she embarks on a 34-city tour that highlights the power of community to bridge our divides and the spirit of connection that comes when we openly and honestly share our stories.”
