Information reaching us has confirmed the death of ex Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.
Though details sorrounding his death was still sketchy as at the time of publishing, sources said he died of complications related to COVID-19.
Amongst those that first broke the news of his death was Ovation Magazine boss, Chief Dele Momodu.

Before now, there had been conflicting information on the status of the South west politician, where some claimed he was dead while close relatives maintained that he was still alive, but sick.
As at yesterday, some close sources said the septuagenarian was still alive and called for prayers on his behalf.
For now, Nigerians look forward to an official statement from his family to calm the airwaves
