Following public outcry against Access bank for allegedly involved in indiscriminate charges, the bank has finally succumbed to pressure and promised to to pay stamp duty charge for February to April on behalf of its customers.
It also offered to refund all deductions made between Saturday and Sunday.
The bank disclosed this in a statement released on Sunday in response to allegations of exploitation levied against the bank.
Access bank took centre stage on the social media on Sunday as different customers came out to share their unpleasant experiences with the bank.
The Access bank scenario opened talks on other banks allegedly involved in similar acts as social media users tagged all the banks bird of same feathers not sparing any of them.
