The Federal Government had at the onset of the covid-19 locked down all sectors except the seaports, saying that it was necessary to keep trade flowing in order to access essential supplies.
The Managing Director, the NPA, Ms Hadiza Bala Usman has said with the opening of the seaports, the safety of customers and workers was of utmost important.
She has as a result been engaging stakeholders in the sector to drive home the need to abide by the Ministry of Health, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 guidelines for keeping safe during this period.
