The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), has described as a scam the ‘leaked’ Mathematics questions that is being circulated on the social media.
It urged members of the public to disregard the information.
A twitter user @iotama22 had earlier tweeted: “WAEC maths paper scheduled for today has leaked since weekend according to sources. See the paper here. What kind of a country is this for God’s sake??? I hope the people responsible will be investigated and punished as appropriate”.
The user also shared some pictures of the leaked paper and ever since stirred reactions on the internet.
But reacting, WAEC wrote:”This is fake. Scammers do this every year. Only gullible candidates fall prey.”
The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) was scheduled to commence on Monday, August, 17th, 2020 with Mathematics as first subject.
