Kano state is receiving a facelift security wise with the newly installed Closed Circuit Television devices across the state metropolis.
The Governor of the state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has been widely commended for the initiative which is believed will curb crime and traffic offences.
The project is expected to drive Foreign Direct Investment, FDI and upgrade the social economy lives of Kano residents
The CCTV is currently being test-runned and to be launched later in September.
A project of this nature was also inaugurated in Kaduna state in 2019 to aid security efforts.
