The Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Ibukun Awosika will be leading other women in finance to host an empowerment session for budding women entrepreneurs.
The session will hold tomorrow,Thursday, September 10,2020.
An initiative of Emerging Africa Capacity Building , the programme was part of activities to mark the 55th birthday ceremony of Group Chief Executive Officer of Emerging Africa Capital Group,Toyin Sanni.
Themed “Women Who Lead”, the session packed a thought provoking mentorship engagement with Africa’s most prominent women who will share stories on their journey to stardom.
According to the organisers of the programme, ‘Women Who Lead’ is designed to guide up- coming women entrepreneurs and working professionals on how to successfully manoeuver their careers.
The organisers stated further in a statement, “The programme is ideal for women entrepreneurs and working professionals, investors, tertiary students and aspiring entrepreneurs.”
More women to grace the talk session are: a former Treasurer and Vice President of the World Bank, Arunma Oteh,OON, Deputy General Manager, Casablanca Finance City,Lamia Merzouki, amongst others.
The session will be moderated by renowned New York Times politics reporter, Dionne Searcey.
