The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Babatunde Adeyeye Ogunwusi has dismissed the rumour about his wife, Shilekunola Naomi Ogunwusi of giving birth to a baby boy.
The Director of Media, Ooni’s Palace, Mr Moses Olafare, dismissed the information as untrue.
He said that his phone has been busy with phone calls from people who are trying to confirm the information, adding that the information is false.
News broke very early yesterday that the monarch had welcome a baby boy with his wife, a development that threw social media into frenzy.
Naomi came into Ooni’s life shortly after Ooni’s marriage to Wuraola Crashed.
At a time also, it was being rumoured that the marriage between Ooni of Ife and Naomi Ogunwusi, had hit the rocks.
The news came as a rude shock to many, who could not wait for the royal couple to confirm or refute it.
However, many heaved a sigh of relief when the Akure, Ondo State- born Queen wrote a lengthy note to debunk the hideous story.
