Epe (Lagos State): Traditional rulers from Epe Division congratulates Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara in Epe Division, on his one year anniversary on the throne.
The traditional rulers said this in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Eredo-Epe, on Tuesday.
Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, the Aladeshanyin of Odo-Noforija in Epe Division, prayed that the Alara of Ilara live decades on throne.
He said that his tenure shall bring positive impact and development into the Ilara kingdom.
“Alara of Ilara is a friend and a brother, I wish him all the best on the throne of his forefathers,’’ he said.
High Chief, Peter Ogungbesan, Baale Ora of Ora Kingdom, in Epe Division, extends glad tidings as Alara of Ilara clocks one year on throne.
He said that the Alara of Ilara was a generous man and a good brother to him.
“I shall do all humanly possible to support him to succeed in his tenure.
“He is a decent man, knowledgeable, matured, and highly connected gentleman to the core.
“I know that Ilara community will witness a tremendous development during his own reign.’’ Ogungbesan assured.
He further said that the traditional ruler is committed and passionate about his community development.
“I am sure he will draw development into Ilara kingdom and will also work collectively with other traditional rulers in his domain to develop Epe Division,’’ he said.
Also, Oba Asunmo Aderibigbe, the Alayandelu of Odo-Ayandelu, in Epe Division, expressed his satisfaction towards the recently celebrated one year anniversary of Alara of Ilara.
He said that all the traditional rulers from Epe Division would work collectively to develop the ancient town.
“Development is gradually coming into Epe Division, we Traditional rulers will work closely with the government and individuals to evolve the neighbourhood,’’ he said.
Aderibigbe said that traditional rulers from Epe Division are one, we rejoice with ourselves and do things collectively for the betterment of the traditional institutions and the community at large. (NAN)
