The Chairman Board of Trustees of Magodo Brooks Residential Association (MABRA), Lagos Engr Ayoola Lawson has apologised to Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu for the treatment meted out on him by the estate guards.
Recall the the Lagos police boss has ordered the arrest of Brooks Estate guards after he was denied entry into the Estate on January 1, 2022.
Odumosu’s action has since stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians.
In a letter addressed to CP Odumosu, the Chairman described the conduct of the guards as improper and expressed regret for their actions.
Lawson in the letter wrote: “On behalf of the residents, I hereby tender an UNRESERVED APOLOGY for the improper conduct of our estate security men towards you on the first of January 1 2022 at the estate gate entrance.
“The conduct of the security men is highly regretted. I hereby wish to assure you that such a misconduct will never happen again.
“I thank you for your anticipated acceptance of our apology and your assurance of setting the matter.”
