Hello, fellow Nigerians, Members of the Press and our Change For Africa colleagues across all local government of the Federation, all our election observers across the nation have been prepped to observe the upcoming general election as usual.
Nigeria can only be better if we are together, rather than divided.
Nigeria is positioned for Africa, just like what China is to Asia and America is to the world at large.
But the greed and personal interests of some leaders has continued to truncate the progress and growth for the masses.
Of recent, the homes and businesses of the masses continue to suffer due to lack of fuel and access to Naira which has continued to keep the people confused, frustrated and divided, as we all know a divided Nigeria is an easy country to pillage.
With the current fuel, cash and economic crises that has cast a dark shadow over the land and as signs of mass uprising are starting to surface, we implore that the leadership should please temper mercy to the common man by ensuring that there is fuel in our filling stations and cash in our ATMs and also extend the February 10th deadline of the outgoing Naira notes.
Our future strongly depends on the choice of leaders we vote into power and offices of influence.
We believe the upcoming 2023 general elections will lead to an historic turning point for the good of all Nigerians and Democracy, but the current crises has the ability to disrupt the outcome. Despite the hardship, we call on INEC and all Nigerians across the length and breadth of this promising country to ensure that elections hold in a timely and peaceful manner to safeguard Nigeria from further destabilization.
Change for Africa will continue to provide voter education that will promote peaceful coexistence and development of our great Nation.
Thank you from Change for Africa Foundation
