The newly appointed acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Omololu Soyombo has officially resumed and has started work in earnest.
His resumption was however not without heavy security presence who are being positioned in the institution to manage any emergency.
Soyombo who today addressed workers in the institution called for their support and cooperation.
He said,“I have resumed effectively as the VC and I hereby solicit the support of every member of staff, so we can work together and discharge our duties peacefully for the interest and progress of UNILAG.”
