Fire has razed down Access bank building on Ademola Adetokunbo Street in Victoria Island, Lagos, theparrot.ng has learnt.
Access Bank said in a statement that nobody was hurt
A tanker was said to be dispensing diesel for the use of the bank’s generators when the fire outbreak started, according to the General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu.
“A combined intervention of the emergency responders, LASEMA Response Team, Eko Hotel, LASG fire, UBA Fire Service, and Federal Fire are able to arrest the fire and stop it from escalating to further the building in the premises,” he said.
