Streets in Akure, Ondo State capital were Saturday morning deserted sequel to the tension that gripped the people over threat of protest over situation state in the country.
Reportst trickling in says markets and shops have remained shut while only few commercial vehicles were seen operating with caution.
Some youths were reportedly already gathering for the protest.
