An Indonesian, Khoirul Anam has married his rice cooker stating three reasons. His three reasons include the fact that the rice cooker can cook for him, it is white in colour and that the rice cooker doesn’t talk.
He has created a stir on social media by ‘marrying’ his rice cooker. Khoirul Anam shared a series of pictures last week that show him dressed up in fancy wedding finery for the ceremony.
The white-coloured rice cooker he ‘married’ was also decked up for the occasion – it appeared alongside Mr Anam in a sheer white veil.
The man’s “wedding ceremony” to his beloved appliance went viral on Twitter after he shared a bunch of photos showing him dressed up in fancy wedding attire, while the rice – apparently made by Phillips – donned a bride’s veil to make everything seem more authentic.
The man captioned the photos by calling his plastic spouse “white (fair), doesn’t talk much, and great at cooking” – three qualities that all technically describe the rice cooker to a tee.
One of the images showed the man sharing a “kiss” with the appliance, while another showed him sitting before a registration table alongside the rice cooker as they “signed” their marriage papers.
