According to report from Esan TV, the robbers who struck in Uromi, Edo state yesterday were prevented by Ubiaja youths who blocked the Ubiaja Road by the rail line.
The unknown robbers fled by motorcycle after abandoning their cash- ladden vehicles off the rail line.
Esan TV reported that the vehicles and cash have been recovered while arrest were also been made.
The youths of the community have been commended for their bravery
Meanwhile, police have confirmed two officers and five civilians dead in the Edo robbery
