A letter from the Oluwo of Iwo Kingdom, Oba Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi seeking the financial support from Osun State governor, Gboyega Oyetola on his forthcoming wedding has gone viral.
In the letter, Akanbi sought for the assistance of Oyetola on his royal wedding to a princess from Ado Bayero Dynasty.
The wedding is expected to gulp not less than N20 million Naira.
Meanwhile, how the letter leaked to social media space has put a lot in suspense.
His plea for financial support has also got people reacting on why he descends so low to be begging for money from the Governor of the state for marital rite.
Others yabbed him saying he didn’t seek for fund to develop his community but on frivolities.
But again, the Governor’s Chief of Staff who received the letter was equally not left out in the drama as many questioned his competence for letting such sensitive documents reached the public domain.
